From January to June 2010 Walker Books will be partnering First News, the Department for Children, Schools and Families and The Teaching Awards to front a new initiative called the My Way! Campaign.
My Way! is a nationwide campaign which will raise awareness of the fact that one in five children have learning challenges. Its aim is to develop understanding of the many different ways in which children learn – and to celebrate their successes – giving children a voice to share their experiences with their peers, parents and teachers. Henry Winkler (aka The Fonz) is the campaign Ambassador.
The campaign launches on 6th January at a reception at No. 10 Downing Street, hosted by Sarah Brown and Children's Secretary Ed Balls.
