Children's Laureate Anthony Browne is supporting a national competition for children at nurseries, primary and secondary schools, and libraries to create a picture book.
A range of freely-available resources can be downloaded at www.ReadingZone.com, including tips and ideas for beginning your picture books.
The competition closes on 14 May 2010 and Anthony Browne will choose the winners. The winners will be announced on 18 June 2010 at a ceremony at CLPE in London.
