Lazlo Strangolov’s Bunker Walkthrough Part II

Mind your heads, friends. As we assemble here in the bunker’s primary chamber, it is horribly easy to knock yourself out on the low beams. Having made this my dwelling place for almost a decade, I now have quite a stoop. It may look odd to you, but I have not found myself spark out on the floor for quite some time now.

So, as we look around, perhaps the first thing you’ll notice is the wall of computer screens. I have installed 16 in total, arranged in a grid of four by four. Now that I have settled in my refurbished cinema seat, one bolted to the floor should the earth start to shudder and shake, we can begin. I control each screen with a touchpad tablet, and it is here that I monitor the very latest developments in End Time Theory.

Something Very Bad will fall upon the world this year. I have predicted the precise date and the nature of the event, buried in code within the pages of my novel, Feather & Bone. Even so, it is my responsibility to watch how others have interpreted the evidence.

Mostly, this involves watching an awful lot of conspiracy clips on YouTube.

From UFO footage of every description to recordings of locusts swarming anticlockwise, ghost ship sightings, crop circles and cloud writing, I am committed to investigating every offering. It’s an exhausting task, which is why it’s more efficient for me to watch so much at the same time.

Anything of note I enter into my logbook here. I do no other writing in this chamber. When I put pen to paper, I do so in the Inkwell Chamber, which is next on our underground tour.
