The Shape Game is a fun drawing game in which one player raws a shape at random and the second transforms it into soemthing recognisable. The game has now been taken on by over 45 writers, artists, illustrators and celebrities, who have all let their imaginations loose on an original shape drawn by Children’s Laureate Anthony Browne.
The transformed shapes are all in our new book, Play the Shape Game, which encourages children to use their imaginations. The book also features brand new shapes created by the contributors which readers can then customise for themselves.
Members of the public will be able to bid for the original artwork from the project at an online auction which starts at 6am today (Monday 26th July). For further information see www.childrenslaureate.org.uk.
