And the winner is ... Patrick Ness!

We're over the moon that Patrick Ness's book The Knife of Never Letting Go has won yet another prize! Yesterday at a ceremony in London, Patrick was awarded the Booktrust Teenage Prize 2008, which honours the best in contemporary writing for teenagers.

According to Viv Bird, the director of Booktrust "The Knife of Never Letting Go made the judges laugh, cry and debate its contents with passion". The prize was awarded by Walker's very own Marcus Sedgwick, who won the prize last year!

Congratulations, Patrick!
