Natasha May

Natasha May loved reading about dance when she was a child, and loves writing about it now. Like Poppy in the Poppy Love stories, Natasha's daughter took part in dance events and competitions, and is now a professional dancer and choreographer. "I never get away from dance," says Natasha, "but I never want to. That moment just before the music begins is so special - I can just feel Poppy and Zack's excitement." Natasha lives in Middlesex with her husband and son, who both prefer maths to dancing. She used to teach English but now works full time as a writer. She also writes under the name of Veronica Bennett, whose books are also published by Walker Books.
