The hidden forest I currently read Jeannie Baker’s fascinating picture book titled the hidden forest .I think that she put in a lot of time and effort to create an environmental book. I particularly like the very first page. It is in dark colours and the setting is very good too. I like the patterns ,they are very good too because they create an interesting background.

I think Jennie Baker’s book is extremely great. Because she used different parts of the world for the fantastic pages. I really, really enjoy some of the pages in your book. The best page in the book is the first page the pinkie purple underwater environment Jennie Baker has used lots of fantastic colours and used a lot of different language that some kids do not know.

Jeannie Baker your book The hidden forest is the best picture book I have read. My favourite character is Ben because he’s a boy and he is very brave. My favourite page is the first one because it’s my favourite colour. You must of tried a lot of time In the book I realised you used lots of nouns and adjectives to make this story so interesting

The Hidden Forest I enjoyed Jeannie Baker’s fantastic picture book The Hidden Forest. I thought she must have spent hours doing the art and putting the pages together. My favourite picture was when Ben had eye contact with the whale and I think he was shocked. I have learnt to respect the world and more about the ocean. Thanks to this book.

REVIEW I recently read Jeannie Baker’s amazing book on the wonderful adventure The Hidden Forest. My favourite page was the front cover. I was fascinated to see all of the underworld. The kelp looked smooth and gentle, so did the other seaweed. I love Jeannie’s word choice like fantastic, cautiously and disgust. The hidden Forest was a great story to write about. I learnt that the environment has an issue of polluting the seas , lakes, dams and oceans. We need to take care of our environment and to respect nature. BY LUKE & KYLE
