G. Brian Karas has illustrated over sixty-five books for children. He is often inspired by his surroundings, and has used many different locations as his art studio: from a sewing factory turned artist's co-op in Manhattan, to the last house ever designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, to a cabin at a desert mountain lodge in Arizona. He lives in New York, USA.
