Being an illustrator is like being a movie director on steroids: I get to cast all the characters, design the costumes, design the sets, and stage all the action. I even choose the camera angles! I had a background in art direction before turning to illustration and I have now illustrated twenty-five books and zillions of stories for children's magazines. My work has also been exhibited in various galleries and museums. I've always wanted to do a pirate book and I'm grateful to Carolyn Crimi for having written Henry and the Buccaneer Bunnies with so much humour. I feel that her words and my pictures mesh perfectly.
